Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson brought the house down with their show-stopping duet, ending night three of CMA Fest with a bang!
On Saturday, June 8, thousands of fans flooded Nissan Stadium to enjoy performances from their favorite country music artists, including Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Keith Urban, Old Dominion, and more!
Known as the largest and longest-running country music festival in the world, CMA Fest promised to deliver a star-studded lineup of performers, and they didn’t disappoint.
Closing up night three of the festival was Jelly Roll, and let’s just say his performance was a special one!
The 39-year-old also had the honor of co-hosting the CMA Fest television special with Ashley McBryde, which is scheduled to air on June 25.
Jelly delivered a string of his hits, including his recent chart-topper, “Halfway To Hell,” “Son Of A Sinner,” and “Need A Favor.” He also performed his new, soul-stirring song, “I Am Not Okay,” which will be released this week on June 12!
Jelly then started to sing his 2023 duet with Lainey Wilson, “Save Me,” which recently won Music Event of the Year at the 2024 ACM Awards.
After singing his part, Jelly welcomed Lainey Wilson to the stage to close out the incredible night together.
“Save Me” was originally released as a single on Jelly’s 2020 album, Self Medicated. It is all about overcoming addiction and seeking help from anyone or anything that can offer salvation.
The song was later included as a duet with Lainey Wilson on his country album, Whitsitt Chapel.

Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson have performed their duet “Save Me” on multiple occasions, but his CMA Fest performance was exceptionally meaningful for Jelly as he had the opportunity to headline the event right next to the juvenile detention center where he once resided.
Jelly urged the audience to sing loudly so that the young adults in the facility could hear, saying that he knew they could hear because he had been in their position once.
“I was in and out of jail, I was in and out of drug addiction, and tonight I am headlining CMA Fest.”
