Jelly Roll’s Divorce From Bunnie Xo Finalized

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s marriage has officially ended, two months before their tenth anniversary.
Fans were stunned when the news broke that Jelly Roll had filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie Xo, after nearly a decade. The court documents, which were filed on May 18th, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

During his show in Saratoga Springs, New York, Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, made his first public statement about the divorce. He reminded the crowd that the internet is a liar and that they should not believe what is being circulated online. He said of his former partner:
“That will be my best friend forever. This is the only time I will ever speak about it. Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship, and 20 beyond that.”
Additionally, he encouraged fans to go listen to Bunnie’s podcast, adding that, “Every word of it is the truth.”
Bunnie Xo released the episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast on June 18th, titled “The Divorce.” While Bunnie, real name Alisa DeFord, does not share every personal detail of the split, she dispels some rumors and reveals what led Jelly Roll to file for divorce.
Strangely, she deleted the podcast episode two weeks later.
In it, she admitted that even though the divorce was not mutual, she respects her ex-husband’s decision and says that they are ending their marriage in the best possible way. The couple had been going through IVF treatments, and the losses of multiple babies took a toll on their relationship. Bunnie says she became a “shell of who she was.”
They had a fight on Mother’s Day (May 10th), which ultimately led Bunnie to leave their home and tell Jelly to file for divorce. He did just that.
The Divorce Becomes Final
On Friday, July 17th, TMZ reported that the marriage between Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo was finalized in Tennessee. According to court documents obtained by the outlet, the former spouses reached a deal earlier this month.
While exact details of the arrangement are confidential, the pair reportedly have divided items including an aircraft, cars, homes, and their intellectual properties.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie had been building their “dream home” on the Tennessee compound they had purchased, and Bunnie stated in her podcast that her former husband was giving it to her in the divorce.
Additionally, the documents show that Jelly Roll has agreed to pay Bunnie an undisclosed one-time lump sum. There will be no alimony claims made.
Finally, the agreement includes a provision prohibiting them from trash-talking each other.
