What Is The ACM’s Triple Crown Award?
After six years, Keith Urban finally received his Triple Crown Award from the ACM.
The ACM’s Triple Crown Award has only been bestowed on a select number of artists. A singer secures the Triple Crown by winning their respective New Artist category, their respective Artist category, and Entertainer of the Year.
For example, Lainey Wilson, the most recent Triple Crown honoree, won New Female Artist of the Year in 2022. Then, she won Female Artist of the Year in 2023. Finally, she won Entertainer of the Year in 2024, leading to her Triple Crown.
Wilso received her Triple Crown Award at the ACM Honors in August 2024.

After winning Entertainer of the Year in 2019, Keith Urban also cinched the Triple Crown Award. But the trophy had never been presented to him…until now.
In the lead-up to its 60th awards ceremony on May 8, 2025, the ACM announced that Urban would finally receive his Triple Crown Award. He’s the first artist to be presented with the honor onstage during the ACM Awards since Carrie Underwood in 2010.
The ACM also unveiled its plans to honor Urban with a musical tribute from Chris Stapleton, Megan Moroney, and Brothers Osborne.
Keith Urban Honored During The 2025 ACM Awards
After watching the tribute in his honor (which he also participated in!), Urban took to the stage to gratefully accept his Triple Crown.
Urban delivered a brief but heartfelt acceptance speech. After thanking the artists who paid tribute to him, he took a moment to share his love for his wife, Nicole Kidman.
“I love you, baby girl,” he said.
Urban also spoke about his two daughters, Sunday and Faith, and expressed his love for them.
From there, Urban began thanking his team, saying they work “insanely hard.”
He ended his speech by giving a “special thanks” to his fans who make everything possible. You could tell he knows he owes this award to them!
