Kid Rock Surprises The Crowd At His Nashville Honky Tonk

Kid Rock rode the excitement of the inauguration through the end of last week. On Sunday, January 19th, he performed his original song “We The People” at Donald Trump’s victory rally.

As a long-time supporter of Trump, Kid Rock was present at many of the inaugural activities that followed. After the celebrations in D.C. concluded, the country rocker returned to Nashville and made a surprise appearance at his namesake bar.

Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse has been a feature of Nashville’s famous Broadway strip since it opened in 2018. Since then, Kid Rock has been known to pop up and party with his patrons from time to time.

Crowd Gets “Rained On” During Surprise Performance

Kid Rock performed a handful of songs during his surprise set, including a cover of “Gimme Three Steps” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

While performing “All Right Now” by Free, he grabbed stacks of cash from a bag brought out by a crew member and began tossing them up in the air over his audience. The crowd cheered emphatically and raised their hands in the air in hopes of making a buck or two.
