Miranda Lambert’s Debut Album, Kerosene, Turns 20 Years Old In 2025

20 years ago, Miranda Lambert released her debut studio album, Kerosene. That album lit a fire under the Texas native’s career, making her an instant country music star.

Kerosene reached the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The album also crossed over to claim the 18th position on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. It has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

Kerosene produced several hit singles now known as staples in Lambert’s catalog. Those songs include “Me and Charlie Talking,” “Bring Me Down,” “Kerosene,” and “New Strings.”

To celebrate Kerosene‘s 20th anniversary, Lambert dropped a previously unreleased song in March. The track, titled “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore,” was recorded in 2005.

Lambert also released a 20th anniversary edition of the Kersoene album on digital platforms. Additionally, she announced the debut of the first Kerosene vinyl, which will be released on April 25.

Miranda Looks Through Throwback Photos

As the release date for the Kerosene vinyl approaches, Lambert wanted to celebrate by looking through pictures from that era of her career. She filmed her reactions to the throwback photos and shared the video with her fans on social media.

Her reactions were quite funny, as she poked fun at both her past and current self while looking at the snapshots.

When she came across one photo, she asked, “Who’s this sweet little angel?” and showed the picture to the camera. With a chuckle, she added, “She gone. She way gone.

That photo happened to be the last one on her list. Relieved, Lambert exclaimed, “Thank God,” when she learned she didn’t have to look at any more.
