Wayne Brady “Banged Up And Sore” After Car Accident

TV host Wayne Brady was involved in a car accident on Sunday (November 19, 2023) that led to an unexpected turn of events.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department revealed that a roadway collision took place involving two drivers — Let’s Make a Deal host, Wayne Brady, and a 51-year-old male.

Brady’s car was hit by another driver on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, according to TMZ. Brady and the other driver got out of their vehicles to assess the damage and exchange information when things got physical between the two which resulted in Brady calling 911.

“Wayne is so upset about this incident with a drunk driver. As a father, he was just thankful it was not his daughter or anyone’s child dealing with this. He kept thinking what if it was his daughter,” a source told PEOPLE.

Law Enforcement had to track down the other driver after he fled the scene, and he was ultimately arrested for the hit-and-run, battery, and driving under the influence. The source confirmed that Brady did press charges against the other driver for battery.

Brady’s injuries were not serious enough to result in a hospital visit, although he was pretty “banged up and sore” according to a source.
