Now 68 years old, Desi Jr. is a performer who fondly remembers working closely with his hilarious mom, specifically while starring in the Here’s Lucy sitcom.
Today, Arnaz is proud to help direct the Boulder City Ballet Company. He also owns the Historic Boulder Theatre.

Much like her brother, Lucie also enjoyed a long career in the spotlight. After spending years on Broadway, the daughter of the two famed comedians went on to win an Outstanding Informational Special Emmy for her beloved documentary about her parents, entitled Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie.

Desi Arnaz Sr. would have turned 100 in 2017, and Lucie and her son, Joseph, created a song entitled “Music in My Heart” to celebrate the legacy of Desi.

Luci honors her late father’s legacy by listening to the song every night before she goes to bed. Lyrics to the song include, “I am here all the time. I am the music in you, the lyrics. I’m in your heart. Look up, I’m in the sky. I’m the tune in your head when you lie down to bed.”
It’s clear: Lucille and Desi may be gone, but their legacy will never be forgotten.
