25-year-old Alyssa Lambert from Sydney, Australia said she was at her home about to lay down for bed when she spotted a massive spider crawling on her ceiling on the night of January 24.

“No way I was going to sleep with that big guy above me. I was terrified,” she said in a TikTok video.

She noticed a huge huntsman spider so she tried to kill it by spraying it with bug spray. However, the plan didn’t go as she thought it would because the spider jump off the wall and went directly towards her.

Terrified, Alyssa jumped off her bed trying to get away from it, and as she landed on the floor, she impaled her foot 5cm deep, 2cm wide by landing on her own pair of Camilla and Marc stiletto high heels.

“Tip: Hide your heels before trying to get rid of a spider,” she said. “I started spraying the spider from my bed and it jumped at me so I jumped off the bed and landed straight onto the heel. It was not sharp at all, it was about a 1.5cm wide heel.”

She was quickly rushed to the hospital where she underwent surgery to have the heel removed. All the doctors and nurses were extremely curious as to how she could have ended up in this particular predicament.

“Everyone at the hospital was very fascinated with how I managed to do it,” she said, laughing. “The surgeon sterilised my heel while in surgery and said I would have never seen a cleaner shoe and handed it back. Luckily enough, no permanent damage. Managed to have no tendon or bone damage. Two weeks of crutches and then can start walking again.”
