Season 19 of America’s Got Talent is officially in the books as a new champion was crowned during Tuesday night’s two-hour finale.

The season finale was a star-studded affair that featured special appearances from Michael Buble, Andra Day, Simone Biles, members of Journey, and more, along with encore performances from this season’s 10 finalists: Aerialists Sebastian and Sonia, dance team AIRFOOTWORKS, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, singer DeeDee Simon, dance group Brent Street, comedian Learnmore Jonasi, vocalist Richard Goodall, dog and human dance duo Roni Sagi & Rhythm, drone act Sky Elements, and quick-change magician Solange Kardinaly.

Richard Goodall, dubbed The Singing Janitor, was the hands-on favorite to win, but many fans of the show wondered if he was ready to be a Vegas act, as one of the prizes awarded to the winner is an opportunity to headline a show in Sin City. In an interview earlier in the season, Goodall said that if he were to win he would retire and move to Florida with his now-wife, Angie. (Richard and Angie were married last week following the finals show.)

Throughout Tuesday’s show, host Terry Crews eliminated acts until only Top 5 were left standing. The Top five were: Sky Elements, Learnmore, Richard Goodall, Solange, and Roni & Rhythm.

Gradually the Top 5 was narrowed down. The Top 5 results were as follows:

5. Learnmore Jonasi

4. Solange Kardinaly

3. Sky Elements

2. Roni & Rhythm

And the winner of America’s Got Talent Season 19 is…..

Earlier in the night, Goodall shared the stage with rock band Journey to sing “Don’t Stop Believin’,” the song that earned him a Golden Buzzer during his audition. Throughout his run on AGT, Richard stayed true to his love of ’80s music by covering two Journey songs, “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You” by Michael Bolton, and “Eye Of The Tiger” by Survivor.
