Leave it up to country powerhouse, Carrie Underwood to handle any problems that come her way like a pro – even on the very first night of her tour.

Underwood has officially hit the ground running on her 2019 Cry Pretty Tour 360. With a girl power lineup of both openers and songs, this might just be her biggest tour yet. While the blonde beauty has shared several behind-the-scenes sneak peeks of rehearsals and the fierce production, it wouldn’t be opening night without a little unexpected mishap.

Starting her tour in Greensboro, NC, on May 1st, Underwood stormed across the stage giving fans the stunning performance they had anticipated for months. But when the star took the stage to sing the sultry ballad “Drinking Alone” off her 2018 Cry Pretty album, technical difficulties got in the way.

Cool, Calm, & Collected

Underwood was sporting a glittery getup and a fedora that she threw into the crowd before grabbing an old-fashioned microphone that was hanging above the stage. As she began to sing the opening verse, no sound came out. Luckily, it didn’t take long for her to realize what was happening. Underwood played it off like a pro and walked over to the other side of the stage to grab a regular microphone.

Within seconds, her powerhouse vocals resonated throughout the venue for the remainder of the song. She played it off so cool, it’s possible fans didn’t even realize. Technical glitches have nothing on this mama of two!

Watch her handle it like a pro in the video below.
