Carrie Underwood Supports Miranda Lambert At Her Vegas Show
on Dec 04, 2023
Carrie Underwood showed her support for longtime friend Miranda Lambert by attending her Vegas show, Velvet Rodeo.
The friendship between Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert stands as a testament to mutual support and camaraderie in the world of country music.
Emerging from the competitive landscape of talent shows, both artists forged their paths, each winning hearts and accolades in their unique ways.
Underwood, of course, won American Idol, and Lambert got her start competing on the show Nashville Star. Although she didn’t win the show, we think she became the real winner with the longevity of her career.
Whether celebrating each other’s successes or navigating life’s challenges, the duo remains vocal about their respect and admiration for one another. Their friendship serves as an inspiration to fans, highlighting the strength found in supporting fellow women in the industry. Even though they are always up against each other at awards shows, they always speak so highly of one another.

Recently, Underwood spoke about Lambert on her Sirius XM channel, Carrie’s Country, and said, “I have so much respect for her and the things that she’s accomplished, the songs she writes, the songs she chooses. We’re sisters in this together, man. I hope she knows I’m always in her corner; I think she’s always in mine.”

Carrie and Miranda teamed up for a duet in 2014.
After years and years of fans begging for a duet between country’s leading ladies, they finally answered with the song “Something Bad.” It claimed the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart, and also became the first time in over 20 years that a collaboration between two solo female artists hit the top spot.
Carrie sees Miranda in Vegas.
Lambert is currently performing a residency at Planet Hollywood and Underwood scored some tickets! The “Crazy Angels” singer shared her experience on her Instagram Stories on Sunday (December 3).
Underwood took a video of Lambert performing and wrote, “Thanks for having us tonight! Such a great show!”
During a performance of “House That Built Me,” Underwood filmed it and wrote, “I’m not crying you’re crying,” on her Instagram Story.
The “Somethin’ Bad” singers even posed together after the show! “Just a couple country girls hanging out in Vegas,” Underwood wrote.
Underwood is in town because her own residency, Reflection, starts back up this week at Resort’s World. We wonder if we will see Lambert in the audience there!
