Charlie Daniels Jr., The Only Child Of Country Music Legend Charlie Daniels, Marries Fiancée Chelsea During Ceremony On Family’s Tennessee Ranch

Country music icon Charlie Daniels and his wife, Hazel, had only one child. His name is Charlie Daniels Jr.

Charlie Jr. was born on April 28, 1965. He meant everything to his dad, and Charlie often shared photos of him on social media.

The last picture Charlie ever shared of his son was on Father’s Day in 2020. He captioned it, “To all Dads: Children are a very special blessing from God. Rejoice in your blessings.”

Charlie died just a few weeks later, on July 6, 2020 at the age of 83.

How Charlie Daniels Jr. Has Kept His Father’s Legacy Alive Since His Death

Since his father’s death, Charlie Jr. has worked to keep his legacy alive. He maintains Charlie’s famous “Soap Box” blog and hosts the Charlie Daniels Podcast.

On the two-year anniversary of his father’s death, Charlie Jr. wrote a “Soap Box” about everything he’s missed. He mentioned a special someone in his life, who his dad never got to meet.

“I wanted him to meet the special lady in my life…[and] I just want to hug his neck again and tell him that I love him.”

Charlie Jr. also shares posts on his dad’s official social media pages.

Then, on Wednesday (August 9), it was Hazel’s turn to share some news with Charlie Daniels’ fans. She announced that Charlie Jr. married his fiancée, Chelsea, on Monday (August 7). 

The couple wed during “an intimate ceremony” on the Daniels family’s Twin Pines Ranch in Tennessee. Hazel said:

“Congratulations, Charlie & Chelsea! My prayer for you is love, happiness, health, and long life together! My deepest love, Mom!”
