Country music singer Cody Johnson is using his star power to help causes close to his heart.
Cody and his wife, Brandi, founded the Different Day Foundation. According to the Foundation’s website, its mission is to serve as “a beacon of hope for women survivors seeking recovery and healing from prostitution, trafficking, and addiction.” The organization helps these survivors by providing a place to live, helping them find employment, and offering “a sisterhood of support that lasts a lifetime.”

In December 2024, Cody participated in a charity golf tournament in Las Vegas, which benefitted the Different Day Foundation and other organizations.
The second annual tournament occurred during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR). Cody was a member of one of the 28 teams that participated in the tournament.
Additionally, the tournament supported Resistol’s Cowboys Who Care Foundation and Wrangler’s Bucking Cancer Initiative.

The Cowboys Who Care Foundation is known for giving cowboy hats to children in the midst of battling cancer. The Bucking Cancer Initiative supports cancer-related causes within the rodeo and Western world. This year, Bucking Cancer directed its funds toward the Golden Circle of Champions, which raises awareness and provides funds to help children battling cancer.
Cody Johnson’s Las Vegas Golf Tournament Raises Almost $300,000 For Various Charities
Cowgirls Magazine reports that Cody’s golf tournament and the accompanying auction raised $298,000 for the organizations it supported.
Also, during the live auction, the Wolff family from Louisiana was presented with a check for $80,000 to help buy a van for their son, Bennet, who has a rare medical condition.
Cody delivered a grateful speech at the event. The “I’m Gonna Love You” singer said:
“When you have a driving force, like these brands behind you, it’s hard not to step up and make a difference. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone involved.”
