Gwen Stefani Shares Her Emotions As She Coaches First Season Of The Voice Without Husband Blake Shelton
Gwen Stefani joins Reba McEntire, John Legend, and Niall Horan as a coach on the upcoming 24th season of The Voice. This season, unlike any other, does not include Blake Shelton as one of the coaches.
After 23 seasons and nine wins, Shelton made the choice to leave the show. He received a grand send-off on his last episode. All nine of his champions returned to perform a musical tribute, along with other former members of Team Blake.

Shelton and Stefani actually met and fell in love on The Voice. They coached several seasons together, and married on July 3, 2021.
Stefani was unable to attend Shelton’s final show. So she sent in a loving video message reflecting on their relationship and memories they made together on The Voice:
“Who would have thought that this Orange County girl and this country guy from Oklahoma would find each other on the set of The Voice?” she said at one point in the clip.

“It’s really different to be on the show without him,” she said. “I miss him so bad on the show…but at the same time, it hasn’t been as hard as I thought it was gonna be, because I think he was just so ready to have a break, that it was kind of weighing on me the last season we were on there [together].”
