Who doesn’t love an ice-cold beer after a long hard day of work? We can be fairly certain that Jameson Rodgers and Luke Combs like to kick back after their latest release together, “Cold Beer Calling My Name.”

The single was released back in 2020 and the country artist just released a music video for the song featuring Combs.

The music video premiered Tuesday, February 9, 2020. Rodgers and Combs portray beer delivery drivers ready to clock out and drink beer around a bonfire with their buddies. The video starts with Rodgers at work receiving a final warning from his boss before he takes off in his beer delivery trunk to make his rounds for the day.

The song was co-written by Rodgers, with the help of Hunter Phelps, Brett Tyler, and Alysa Vanderheym. It followed his debut mainstream hit “Some Girls” to the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay charts, plus the top 30 of Billboard’s Hot 100.

As Rodgers and Combs suffer through their job, Rodgers gets a call from a friend inviting him over for a bonfire and some beer. His buddy on the other line asks him to bring a sixer with him. Rodger chuckles and then replies with a grin, “I think I can handle that.” The video then cuts to him and Combs driving the entire delivery truck to the bonfire.
