Unfortunately, fire crews were recently called out to Carrie Underwood’s house on a day meant for celebration.

According to Williamson County Fire And Rescue, crews from eight different stations responded to a call at 9:42 p.m. on Sunday night, July 16, which also happened to be Father’s Day. The call was related to an unexpected house fire at the residence of none other than Carrie Underwood.

A devastating fire had broken out at Underwood’s rural Tennessee farm, completely engulfing their garage in flames. Fortunately, the “Before He Cheats” singer, her family, and her three pets were able to get out of the house unharmed.

“Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house. Firefighters continue to put out hotspots to prevent further spread.”

The spokesperson for Williamson County Fire and Rescue, Dinah Wade, revealed to The Tennessean that the fire was caused by an off-road UTV parked in the garage that caught fire unexpectedly.

Shortly after the news broke, Carrie Underwood’s representative spoke out about the fire.

In a statement provided to Country Rebel, Brad Cafarelli, spokesperson for Carrie Underwood, shared:

“There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained. There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”

Luckily, Carrie, her husband, and her two children were able to stay in their home, as their primary residence was not damaged by the fire.

While it was undoubtedly an unfortunate end to Father’s Day for Carrie and her family, it looks like the American Idol winner seemed to have an otherwise peaceful Sunday afternoon, posting pictures of her sheep on her Instagram Stories.

Another country music star recently shared his condolences to Carrie and her family, following the devastating house fire.

In a recent interview with Taste of Country Nights, Jason Aldean expressed his heartfelt reaction to the situation.

After being asked if he had talked to Carrie or her husband, Mike Fisher, since the fire, Aldean responded:

“I haven’t, man. I just heard about that yesterday. I haven’t talked to her at all. I’ve actually seen Mike since I’ve seen Carrie, I need to reach out to him. But I just heard about this yesterday, so I’m glad everybody’s okay and everybody’s doing good.”

Apparently, Aldean had a somewhat urgent tone to his voice and a look in his eyes while expressing his genuine concern and care for the family.

And it makes sense because Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood have been friends for a long time and even released their first collaboration together in 2021 with “If I Didn’t Love You.”

It turns out that the song was recorded just a week after Aldean asked Carrie if she wanted to be his duet partner for the project.

After its release, Carrie told Good Morning America that their duet was the “perfect fit.”

“Jason asked if I would sing ‘If I Didn’t Love You’ with him. I knew I liked the song, and Jason and I have actually been trying to do things together over the years. We’ve sang together before, but we’ve never officially recorded anything together. It just kind of felt like this could be our moment.”

Carrie continued, “I felt like it was a little bit of an unexpected duet to other people, but I feel like I always knew at some point I’d probably sing with him officially, and this just seemed like the stars were aligning and it just seemed like it was going to be the perfect fit.”

The project even won Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year at the 2022 CMT Music Awards.
