Keith Urban Performs On Season 25 Finale Of The Voice After Serving As Mega Mentor To The Contestants
The first night of The Voice‘s Season 25 finale featured a special performance from Keith Urban, who previously served as the season’s Mega Mentor.
On March 25, The Voice announced that the country music superstar would join the show as its Mega Mentor. Urban advised the contestants on all four teams while they rehearsed for the Knockouts.

Urban was not new to the mentoring role. He previously served as Blake Shelton’s team advisor during Season 15. He also served as a coach on Seasons 1, 10, and 11 of The Voice in Australia.
Keith Urban Debuts New Song, “Messed Up As Me”
Around the time he appeared on The Voice, Urban started teasing a new album, which is expected to debut later this year. Not much is known about the project, but Urban shared a few details with Audacy in March.
“It’s a more concise record. It’s got all the flow and diversity that I think particularly our concerts are known for,” he said.
Urban has already released a few songs from the album, including its lead single, “Straight Line,” and a duet with Lainey Wilson called “Go Home W U.”
Another one of Urban’s new songs is titled “Messed Up As Me.” In February, he debuted the track at the annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville.
The song describes a relationship between two people who aren’t the best for each other. But they stay together because they hold on to the one good part of their love.
“Messed Up As Me” clearly resonated with listeners. It soared up both of Billboard‘s country charts and has already cracked the Top 20.

Urban returned to The Voice for night one of its Season 25 finale. He delivered his first televised performance of “Messed Up As Me” during the show.
