She recently shared the incredible story of how she landed her recurring role despite having no prior acting experience. Wilson shared that she first met the show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan, when he included her music in the second season. She also mentioned that it was Sheridan who suggested she join the cast.

“I said, ‘Well, you know, I’ve never acted a day in my life.’ And he said, ‘Well, most musicians that I work with, without even knowing it, they’re actors and actresses because at times, you got to stand up on that stage,'” she revealed.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter of Abby’s romance with Ryan, and now we can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing that her love story will continue!

Last month, Lainey hinted at her possible return to the show during an interview with ET. When asked if she had received a casting call from Sheridan, she playfully responded:

“I can’t wink, but I’m doing something with my eye right now…It’s good news. I’ll tell you that.”
