Amid the worldwide pandemic and massive, sweeping quarantine regulations across our country, many of our own beloved country stars are doing their best to help us from going stir crazy!

Just last week Tim McGraw took to social media to start what he called the “Deep Cuts Challenge.” The challenge is simple, yet entertaining.

The goal is for the musician to sing a “deep cut” that they’ve loved for a long time but haven’t gotten the chance to really perform. Perhaps something from high school or college – and then, they name who they would like to challenge to follow suit.

“Who’s got cool songs they’ve always loved to play when they’re sitting around the house or when (you) were in high school or college?” McGraw wrote in his caption before challenging Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and Brad Paisley.

Well, plenty of folks have lent their talent to this fun and enjoyable challenge and now it has made it around to Luke Combs. He was challenged by Morgan Wallen when he sang “Water Tower” by Jason Aldean.

Answering the challenge, Luke Combs chose to sing his own version of “What’re You Listening To.”

“This may not technically be a deep cut but it’s a song that didn’t get as much credit as I think it deserved. Chris, I’m sorry I messed up the bridge, don’t hate me. Hope y’all enjoy and I want to challenge,” he said in the video caption.

Then, he challenged Vince Gill next!
