Morgan Wallen was presented with a 7x Platinum plaque during his show at Neyland Stadium

Superstar Morgan Wallen performed two nights of concerts at the University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium on September 20th and 22nd. Over the course of the two nights, many surprise guests joined the Knoxville native on stage, including Eric Church, Hardy, Ernest, Darius Rucker, and Miranda Lambert.

According to a press release, a total of 156,161 combined fans attended the shows, breaking the previous attendance record held by the Jackson 5. Wallen is the fourth artist to ever headline Neyland Stadium, the sixth-largest college football stadium in the country.

However, it was not only what happened on stage that made the weekend memorable. While backstage before his Sunday night show, Wallen was presented with a plaque commemorating that this album One Thing At A Time had been certified 7x platinum by the RIAA.

This means that the album has sold an astounding 7 million copies.
