Post Malone Drops His Highly Anticipated First Country Album, F-1 Trillion

At midnight on Friday (August 16), Post Malone released his long-awaited debut country album, F-1 Trillion.

Post has been covering country songs for years, leaving fans to wonder if he’d ever release a country album. Finally, in late 2023, he confirmed that a country record [was] coming.

The singer released his first country single, “I Had Some Help,” in May. The track, which is a collaboration with Morgan Wallen, quickly reached the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

In June, Post Malone revealed the title and release date of his country album, F-1 Trillion. The album features 18 tracks and dropped on August 16.

Many of the songs on F-1 Trillion are collaborations. The tracklist includes pre-released songs such as “Pour Me a Drink” with Blake Shelton and “Guy for That” with Luke Combs.

F-Trillion also includes some solo songs, with titles such as “Yours,” “What Don’t Belong to Me,” and “Right About You.” In the case of “Yours,” that song was inspired by Post’s two-year-old daughter.

Hear Some Of The Previously Unreleased Songs From F-1 Trillion

Once F-1 Trillion dropped, fans finally got the chance to hear the previously unreleased songs and collaborations. One of those songs is “Have the Heart,” which is a duet with country music legend Dolly Parton.

“Have the Heart” is an upbeat tune about two people considering breaking up. But they “don’t have the heart” to break the other person’s heart by leaving. So they keep getting back together, and as the song nears its end, they decide to spend “one more night” together.

Another one of the previously unreleased songs from F-1 Trillion is “Finer Things,” which Post Malone recorded with Hank Williams Jr.

The song has the two men singing about how they “have a thing for the finer things,” but still manage to make those finer things “country.” As the chorus goes:

I got a thing for the finer things. I’m in that deer blind with a diamond ring. My Lambo’ and my ammo’s all camo green. Yeah, I got an F-1 Trillion limousine.”

Before you go, enjoy one more previously unreleased song in the clip below. Called “California Sober,” the groovy track is a duet with Chris Stapleton.

“California Sober” is just one of many collaborations you’ll hear when you dive into Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion. Let us know which track is your favorite once you finish the album!
