Rising Country Star Alex Mather Readies New Music After Signing With Renowned Company After Platinum Records
Country artist Alex Mather is one of the genre’s fastest-rising stars. The Australian native already has three #1 singles in his home country. Additionally, his debut single, “That Summer,” is approaching 1 million streams.

Mather’s talent caught the attention of esteemed record label and artist development company After Platinum Records. The company is known for their work with industry powerhouses such as Drake, Diddy, and Lil Wayne.
Now, After Platinum Records ventures into the country music world with Mather. He recently signed with the company:

Mather is set to further his reach with the release of his debut EP, The Long Way Home. He collaborated with a number of industry veterans in Nashville, including Charlie Judge, Jimmy Lee Sloas, Shannon Forrest, B James, Mark Hill, and Sol Philcox.

Alex Mather Releases Latest Single, “By My Side,” And Its Accompanying Music Video
The Long Way Home includes Mather’s high-streaming single “That Summer” and his newest single, “By My Side.” Mather released the song on all platforms today (June 16) along with an accompanying music video.
Renowned director Randy Shaffer directed the official music video for “By My Side.” He described the video as “a true celebration” and expressed his excitement about the finished project:
“I am beyond excited to unveil the ‘By My Side’ music video to Alex’s dedicated fans and the global audience,” Shaffer said. “Being a part of this project has been an absolute joy, and I firmly believe it injects an abundance of infectious fun into the song.”
Mather planned a tour to support the release of “By My Side” and his new EP. The tour kicks off in Sydney, Australia on August 19, followed by shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide. Afterward, Mather will return to the U.S. to continue his trek.
