Shenandoah Treats Nashville Predators Fans To Excellent National Anthem Performance

Nashville Hockey Team Enlists Country Stars To Perform The National Anthem

Shenandoah stepped up to the plate—or rather, onto the ice—to sing the National Anthem when the Nashville Predators faced off against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday (February 25).

Being from “Music City,” the Predators have no shortage of singers they can call on to perform the National Anthem. Over time, artists such as Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Brad Paisley have had the honor.

American Idol judge Luke Bryan performed the National Anthem at a Predators game on February 3. In a moving moment, he stood on the ice next to two young “Heart Warriors” who had undergone open heart surgery.

A few weeks later, Shenandoah showed up at Bridgestone Arena to deliver their own rendition of the National Anthem. The legendary “Sunday in the South” singers shared a batch of photos from their exciting night.

Thanks to all the Preds staff for the hospitality, we all had a great time!” the band wrote on Facebook.

Shenandoah Shares Video Showcasing Their National Anthem Performance At Nashville Predators Game

As to be expected, Shenandoah treated Predators fans to an excellent National Anthem performance. They showcased their signature harmonies as they soared through the song, mesmerizing the crowd with every note.

Once the song ended, the audience clapped and cheered to show their love for Shenandoah’s performance. The band shared the love right back by waving to the crowd before they left the ice.

If you didn’t get to see Shenandoah’s performance in person, you’re in luck. The band uploaded a video of their full performance on social media. They said they are “Grateful for every opportunity to stand and share this song that means so much.”
