“Yellowstone” Spin-Off “The Madison” Announces More Cast Members, Including “1923” Actor
on Dec 19, 2024
The Madison will be a spin-off of Yellowstone
Last year, it was announced that the Yellowstone universe would be expanding with a new present-day show, titled 2024. Over time, the show’s titled was changed to The Madison.
The first actor to sign on to the project was Michelle Pfeiffer back in August. She will also be executive producing alongside creator Taylor Sheridan.
Shortly after, it was revealed that Lost star Matthew Fox would be starring opposite Pfeiffer, as Paul, a bachelor who loves the outdoors. Pfeiffer’s character’s name is Stacy Clyburn.
Suits star Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Elle Chapman, Ben Schnetzer, and Beau Garrett have since been announced as cast members.
Four More Cast Members Announced
As we know, Sheridan enjoys to write ensemble shows, so it wouldn’t be a Taylor Sheridan production without a large cast. On Tuesday (Dec. 17), Variety reported that four more actors had joined the project.
Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Alaina Pollack, and Danielle Vasinova have all been cast in The Madison.
Variety reports that Zegers will play a man named Cade, who is Pfeiffer’s character’s new neighbor. Pollack is playing Garrett’s youngest daughter, Macy, while Spence will portray Stacy’s good friend from New York.
Vasinova is playing Kestrel, “an indigenous woman married to a Montana rancher who lives with her family on a double-wide trailer on their ranch.”
Does Kestrel’s description remind you a little of Monica from Yellowstone?
If you Google “Danielle Vasinova,” a credit will appear that shows she is already part of the Yellowstone universe. She is credited in one episode of 1923, one of the prequel shows.
1923 returns on February 23, 2025 and according to IMDb, that’s when we will meet Vasinova’s character, Ata Waipa. You might also recognize her as the star of Toby Keith’s music video for “Bullets In The Gun.”
What is The Madison about?
According to Variety, The Madison, is a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.”
It’s been reported that Pfeiffer’s character, Stacy Clyburn, relocates to Montana from New York City after her husband and brother-in-law die an a tragic plane crash.
According to Parade, Fox is expected to play a character named Paul. He is described as “a self-reliant bachelor who loves the outdoors.”
The publication reported that The Madison would film after Yellowstone Season 5, Part Two finished filming, so they likely began filming the show in last August.
It has not been announced when The Madison will air, or if it a Paramount+ exclusive, like the other Yellowstone spin-offs. Fans are also waiting patiently for the newly-announced Rip and Beth spin-off, as well as a 6666 show.
While we wait for The Madison, watch the trailer for Season 2 of 1923.
