Country Singers Fill The Yellowstone Cast
Several of the Yellowstone cast members are country singers. For starters, Ryan Bingham, who plays Walker, has been releasing albums since 2007.
Secondly, one of the show’s newest cast members, Lainey Wilson, is a CMA Award-winning country artist. She plays Abby, who appropriately, is a singer too.
Additionally, Luke Grimes (who plays Kayce Dutton) is yet another member of the Yellowstone cast with a country music career.

Hear The Songs Luke Grimes Has Released So Far
Unlike Bingham and Wilson, Grimes is fairly new to the music industry. He just released his debut song, “No Horse to Ride,” in December 2022.
The song was a smash success, and generated millions of streams on Spotify. To top it off, it was also featured in an episode of Yellowstone
Then in March, Grimes released another new song. This one is titled “Oh Ohio,” as a tribute of sorts to Grimes’ home state. He was born in Dayton, and graduated from Dayton Christian High School.
When speaking about the song on Instagram, Grimes said it was “a very dear one to [his] heart.”
Luke Grimes Follows Up With His Newest Track, “Hold On”
Now, we have yet another new song from Grimes. He dropped his newest track, “Hold On,” on Friday (April 21).
The song has a subdued, pure country sound that gives Grimes’ voice the chance to shine. In it, Grimes sings to someone who loves him, saying how he wishes they didn’t care so much about him. He feels this yearning to run, as he sings:
“Wish that I could not go crazy. Wish that I could make you hate me. Maybe I should change my name and run, so I don’t have to hold on.”
Go ahead and listen to Grimes’ new song, “Hold On,” in the official audio clip below.
Grimes signed a deal with Universal Music Group Nashville last year. He started recording in February. With three songs out now, it seems like Grimes is gearing up to release his debut album. Stay tuned for any announcements regarding such news.
