Zach Bryan Brings Out Kacey Musgraves For Surprise Performance Of “I Remember Everything”
on Mar 06, 2024
Last night, at the United Center in Chicago, Zach Bryan kicked off the first time of his Quittin’ Time Tour, performing for a sold-out crowd of over 23,000 people.
The crowd was stunned when he surprised everyone by inviting Kacey Musgraves onstage for a captivating performance of their Grammy-winning duet, “I Remember Everything.”
Although Bryan has previously performed solo renditions of the song during his concerts, the Chicago show is the first time where both artists have collaborated to perform the track together.
Recently, “I Remember Everything” clinched a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, mere months after it became the first-ever #1 hit for both artists on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Presently, it holds a double platinum certification from the RIAA.

Musgraves Reflects On Recording Experience
In a preview clip of her upcoming interview on Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, which debuted exclusively on PEOPLE this week, Musgraves disclosed that she recorded “I Remember Everything” while feeling under the weather.
“I got asked if I wanted to do the song, and of course, I was like, ‘I’m down,’ but I wasn’t feeling well,” she shared with host Willie Geist. “Like my throat was hurting. I had just gone on like this trip. And they were like, ‘Well, we kind of have a deadline. Like, if you want to be on this song you kind of got to get it in by like, this day.'”
“So like, I go to the studio, and I’m like, man, my voice is not cooperating. And I was like, ‘I hope this doesn’t really suck,'” she remembered.
Fortunately, Musgraves managed to perform the song and felt “pretty good about it,” despite discovering she had strep throat after promptly visiting the doctor following her studio session.
Musgraves humorously referred to the track as “sick as f*** literally.”
She also cracked the same joke on Instagram when the song debuted last August.
