American Idol‘s Top 24 Contestants Perform At Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa In Hawaii
American Idol fans are praising Carrie Underwood for wearing a “modest” swimsuit in Hawaii.
Following Hollywood Week, the Top 24 contestants from the current season of American Idol traveled to “The Aloha State.” They were accompanied by host Ryan Seacrest and judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.
Jelly Roll, who’s serving as Idol‘s first artist-in-residence, also flew to Hawaii to help the contestants rehearse. They received additional guidance from guest mentors Ashanti and Josh Groban.

The Top 24 delivered extraordinary performances from Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Some standout moments included:
- When stay-at-home mom Breanna Nix delivered a passionate cover of Christian artist Lauren Daigle‘s “Still Rolling Stones.”
- Jelly Roll being moved by Jamal Roberts’ rendition of his hit song, “Liar.”
- When Platinum Ticket recipient Canaan James Hill took everyone to church with his performance of the gospel song “Glory to Glory to Glory.”
- When Olivier Bergeron impressed Jelly Roll with his emotional cover of “I Am Not Okay.”
Carrie Underwood’s Swimsuit Photos Praised By Fans Who Respect Her For Being “Modest”
While in Hawaii, the Idol judges and contestants spent some time at the beach. Carrie Underwood hit the water to participate in some paddleboard yoga.
Underwood shared two pictures on social media showcasing her paddleboard exercise. Her blue and white one-piece swimsuit, featuring a skirt and a triangle print, received many compliments.
Idol fans applauded Underwood for opting to wear a swimsuit that was more “modest” in style. They also complimented her fit physique, leaving comments such as:
“This swimsuit though!! So cute & modest!”

This isn’t Underwood’s first time posting a swimsuit picture on social media. The “Dirty Laundry” singer has shared several waterside snapshots in the past. On those occasions, she donned two-piece swimsuits with fun prints and accessories.
