At 29 years old, Post has lived in the spotlight for almost all of his adult life. Somehow he has managed to keep his private life mostly private, despite being one of music’s biggest stars. When Was Post Malone’s Daughter Born?
Post Malone and his fiancee welcomed a daughter in May 2022. In an interview with Howard Stern, Post revealed that he was now a father and was engaged to his daughter’s mother.
What Is Her Name?
Baby Post’s name has not been made public. The only clue the singer has given about her name is her initials, D.D.P., which are tattooed on his forehead.

In a 2023 interview with CR Fashion Book, Post explained his decision to protect his daughter from attention, saying:
“I feel like a lot of people feel entitled to know every single detail of everyone’s life and it’s why I don’t want to post any pictures of my baby. I want her to be able to make that decision whenever she wants to and is ready.”
Who Is Post Malone’s Fiancee?
The “I Had Some Help” singer has not publicly disclosed the identity of his fiancee but has called her “a really beautiful person.” The two got engaged in Las Vegas after post “lost a significant amount of money” gambling. He told Call Her Daddy podcast host, Alex Cooper, that he first proposed to his fiancee in 2021, but she turned him down.
“We go upstairs, and I’m off my rocker hammered, and I was like, ‘Hey, you wanna marry me?’ I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said ‘no.’ She’s like, ‘Ask me tomorrow,’ and I was like, ‘Alright.’ And then I did, and I was sober, and it was nice.”
Why Does He Credit Her With Saving Him?
In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Post Malone opened up about the impact his fiancee and daughter have had on his life. He told correspondent Anthony Mason that she changed his life “in the best way ever.” Post added, “Four years ago, I was on a rough path.”
He told Mason that each day he would wake up and have a good cry, drink, live his life, then lay down, drink some more and have another good cry and think, “I’ve gotta wake up again tomorrow and do this again.”

But meeting his fiancee changed everything, and he credits her with making him feel “like a human being” without ultimatums. He told Howard Stern that ultimatums are heartbreaking when someone is looking for help. Thankfully his fiancee chose to love him for who he was and helped lead him out of a dark place.
“It’s the guidance out of the dark…It’s ‘You are you and I love you so much and I see what you can be. And I know who you can be, and you’re not like this,'” Post said. “She saved my … life. It’s pretty epic.”
