Post Malone & Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help” Named 2024 Song Of The Summer
With Billboard naming “I Had Some Help” this year’s #1 Song of the Summer, we are sure that whatever these two release next will be another hit!
Post Malone was a recent guest on comedian Theo Von’s podcast, This Past Weekend. During their chat, the two spoke about Post Malone’s new country album, F-1 Trillion, which dropped just last month.
Of course, they also discussed Post Malone’s popular crossover song, “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen.
“I Had Some Help” Achieves Major Success
“I Had Some Help” was the first single released from Post’s country album. Fans immediately loved the track. It made history by debuting at #1 on both Billboard’s Hot Country Songs and Hot 100 charts, staying there for five weeks—a first for any song. Additionally, it topped Billboard’s 2024 Songs of the Summer chart for all 14 weeks of summer.
Fun Fact: F-1 Trillion sold over 500,000 copies before its release, qualifying it for Gold certification from the RIAA.

Post Malone & Morgan Wallen Have Another Unreleased Track
While telling Theo Von how this collaboration came about, Post Malone shared a few more details about working with Morgan Wallen.
Theo described the track as being “to the moon” since its release. He also said he loved the music video, asking Post how long it took to film.
“We shot that in a day near Stagecoach. So, we were doing Stagecoach the day after, I think, and Morgan had some time, and we had time, and we just got together.”
Theo asked if they wrote the song together, to which Post confirmed they did. He then revealed the exciting news that they have another collaboration in the works. Describing the track as “awesome,” Post reminisced about the night they recorded it. He admitted his memory of laying down a verse was a bit hazy due to the late-night session.
“[We] cut another song, too. I think I remember doing a verse…it was one of those long nights. That song’s awesome, too. I don’t know if he’s gonna do anything with it, but I remember it being awesome. Also, I was having a lot of fun. We were just all together…it was just killer. I love writing songs with my buddies.”
We would absolutely love to hear their unreleased track! Until then, at least we all can enjoy Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help.”
