Some of Music City’s most adorable couples stepped out Wednesday night for the CMA Awards show held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
One of the highlights of music awards shows is seeing country stars and their significant others on the red carpet and in the crowd. There are couples that fans look forward to seeing year after year, and sometimes fans are surprised when rarely seen partners make an appearance or a couple goes “red carpet official.”
We’ve rounded up some of the cutest couples from this year’s CMA Awards and listed them below.
1. Chris & Morgane Stapleton
It was a big night for Chris Stapleton as he took home 4 CMA Awards, including Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year. Everyone who knows Chris Stapleton knows that his wife, Morgane, is a vital part of his success. He acknowledged the fact when accepting the Song of the Year trophy and said, “I can’t do this without you and I probably wouldn’t even be here without you.”
2. Lainey Wilson & Duck Hodges
Lainey Wilson and longtime boyfriend Duck Hodges looked stunning in all black as they walked the red carpet ahead of the awards show. Hodges, who started dating Wilson in 2021, was in attendance to support Lainey who was hosting the annual CMA Awards for the first time alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning.
3. Parker McCollum & Haillie Ray Light McCollum
New parents Parker and Hallie McCollum stepped out for a date night looking svelte in black. During the show, Parker teamed up with Miranda Lambert to sing “Troubadour” as part of the George Strait tribute performance.
4. Cody & Brandi Johnson
Cody and Brandi Johnson looked adorable, as usual, as they made their way down the red carpet. Later in the night, Brandi celebrated her husband’s Album of the Year win and his surprise performance of “I’m Gonna Love You” with Carrie Underwood.

5. Luke Combs & Nicole Hocking
Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, looked gorgeous in black and blue as they walked the red carpet. Luke was up for three of the night’s biggest awards and performed a fiery rendition of “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” from the Twisters movie soundtrack.
6. Miranda Lambert & Brendan McLoughlin
All eyes were on Miranda Lambert and husband Brendan McLoughlin Wednesday night. The couple always nails their red carpet look, and this year was no exception. The 14-time CMA Award winner wasn’t up for any trophies this year, but partnered with Parker McCollum to sing “Troubadour” for the George Strait tribute performance.
7. Zach Top & Amelia Taylor
Few couples got as much attention this year as Zach Top and Amelia Taylor. Top is one of country music’s biggest new stars and, after he split from his wife, became one of the genre’s most eligible bachelors. But, he made it clear that he’s off the market when making things red carpet official with his new girlfriend.
8. Kelsea Ballerini & Chase Stokes
Female Vocalist of the Year nominee Kelsea Ballerini and her boyfriend Chase Stokes looked more in love than ever Wednesday night. The pair, who began dating in 2023, are seen smiling and flirting in almost of their pictures from the event. The only time they appeared to be apart was when Kelsea took the stage to sing “Cowboys Cry Too” with Noah Kahan.
9. Thomas Rhett & Lauren Akins
No cutest couples list would be complete without Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins. These two are never NOT adorable. The high school sweethearts, who said “I do” in 2012, left their four daughters behind while they enjoyed a date night at the CMA Awards. Thomas Rhett wasn’t up for any awards, but delivered one of the most talked about performances of the night alongside Teddy Swims.

10. George & Norma Strait
Last, but certainly not least, is George Strait and his wife of nearly 53 years, Norma. George was honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award during the CMA Awards show, and Norma, their son and daughter-in-law, Bubba and Tamara, and two grandchildren were in attendance to celebrate the moment. During his acceptance speech, he thanked his family and gave a special shout out to Norma.
“I want to thank my family who are all here tonight. My wife Norma, my son Bubba, his wife Tamara, my grandkids Harvey and Jillian,” Strait said. “Especially Norma, who has supported me for just shy of 53 years – it’s been an amazing 53 years.”
