The winner of Season 30 of The Voice will receive an opportunity that no contestant in the show’s history has ever been offered before.

The Voice is getting ready for its milestone 30th season, which will premiere this September. And because it’s such a major moment for the show, producers are introducing some new changes.

For starters, the show is bringing in an exciting lineup of coaches. Season 30 will feature two fan-favorite coaches, along with two brand-new faces making their Voice debut.

Adam Levine will be one of the returning coaches. Levine has spent 18 seasons in the famous red chair over the years, most recently appearing on Season 29’s Battle of Champions, where his team member Alexia Jayy won.

Joining him is Kelly Clarkson, who will be back for her 12th season as a coach. She’s also carrying plenty of momentum into Season 30 after competing on Season 29.

Then there’s Riley Green, who was the third coach announced. Green will bring the country flair that fans have always loved so much. Just look at the success of Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire, who became two of the most popular coaches in the show’s history.

And completing the coaching panel is rapper, actress, and entertainment icon, Queen Latifah. This will be her first time ever on the show, and fans are excited to see what advice and experience she brings to the competition.

The Voice Season 30 Winner Will Get An Opportunity Of A Lifetime

Another new element The Voice is introducing for Season 30 is a change to the winner’s prize.

Usually, the winner receives a $100,000 grand prize and a recording contract with Universal Music Group.

And if you’re wondering how that prize package could possibly get any better, the show has found a way.

This season, the champion will still receive those rewards, but they’ll also have the chance to perform on the main stage at the Governors Ball music festival in 2027 thanks to a partnership with Live Nation Studios and the festival.

The three-day event draws thousands of fans to New York City each year to see some of the world’s biggest artists. Because of that, it’s an incredible opportunity for exposure and could be a major career boost.

“The Governors Ball has always been about celebrating both established stars and the next generation of artists. Partnering with Live Nation Studios and ‘The Voice’ allows us to give a remarkable new talent the opportunity to perform on one of music’s biggest, most diverse stages and connect directly with fans in a live festival environment,” said Tom Russell, co-founder of the festival, per Variety.

It looks like this could become one of the most competitive seasons of The Voice yet, considering what’s on the line.
