3 Things Every “Marshals” Fan Must Know Before Season 2 Premieres

Season 1 of Marshals concluded on May 24th, and the show didn’t waste any time before starting on its next installment.
On June 8th, Marshals confirmed that production on the show’s second season had begun. They shared two photos from the set: the first depicts Tatanka Means (Miles) and Ash Santos (Andrea), and the second captures Luke Grimes in character as Kayce Dutton.

We’ve learned a lot more about Season 2 of Marshals since those initial images were posted. Head below for three details every fan will need to know before the season premiere!
When Does Season 2 Of Marshals Premiere?
In early July, the show released a dramatic teaser trailer for Season 2. That trailer ended with the declaration that the new season would premiere sometime in the fall.
Finally, Marshals announced that Season 2 will start on Sunday, October 4th.
“Back in the saddle October 4,” the show shared on July 27th alongside an image of Kayce Dutton’s iconic hat hanging up next to some cue sticks in a bar.
How Can You Watch Season 2 Of Marshals?
Once Season 2 premieres, Marshals fans can watch new episodes every Sunday at 8 PM ET on CBS.
As the Paramount+ website explains, Paramount+ Premium subscribers can stream new episodes on Paramount+ as they air on CBS. Otherwise, new episodes can be streamed the following day (Mondays) on any Paramount+ plan.
Who’s Returning For Season 2 Of Marshals?
The images the show posted to announce it started production on Season 2 confirmed that Luke Grimes, Tatanka Means, and Ash Santos are returning to the series as Kayce, Miles, and Andrea. Brecken Merrill (Tate), Mo Brings Plenty (Mo), and Gil Birmingham (Thomas Rainwater) will reprise their roles as well.
However, fans have been concerned about Pete (otherwise known as “Cal”) and Belle, played by Logan Marshall-Green and Arielle Kebbel. The characters were caught in a perilous situation when Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger, leaving their fates unknown.
Neither Cal nor Belle was shown in the Season 2 teaser trailer, leading fans to question if they made it out alive.
But it sounds like everyone can breathe a sigh of relief. Both Marshall-Green and Kebbel confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that their characters survive, and they will be in Season 2.
“I can confirm he is alive, but not necessarily unscathed. I think I can confirm that for everybody in the d— show, because everybody’s going through it by the end of this thing,” said Marshall-Green.
Regarding Belle’s well-being, Kebbel said, “I am a part of season two, yes. We start filming [season two] with a pick up of that [finale] moment. My head is so deep into season two already.”
Although there’s no guarantee that Cal and Belle won’t meet a tragic fate later on. As country singer Riley Green‘s multi-episode performance as Garrett proved, no one, not even a beloved character, is safe in this universe.
